Vacheron Constantin Launches Platinum Line with VIP Bash

Vacheron Constantin, the world’s oldest Swiss watch brand, launched its Platinum Excellence Collection on Nov. 15 at a Hollywood VIP bash at private Beverly Hills estate. It is the first watch collection ever to have a solid platinum watch dial.
Among the watches is a $507,000 Skeleton Minute Repeater, which took thousands of hours to create, and features intricate engraving inspired by the Eiffel Tower.
The event also benefited the non-profit EB Medical Research Foundation, which supports research to find a cure for the deadly childhood skin disease.
Marc Guten, international director of Vacheron Constantin and Julien Tornare, president of Vacheron Constantin North America, welcomed A-list celebrities, among them Jennifer Aniston, David Arquette, Pete Sampras, Holly Robinson-Peete, Rebecca Romijn, Lauren Graham, and Alison Janney. Three-time Grammy Award winner John Legend gave a private performance on a custom-built stage over the estate’s swimming pool.
