Kwiat Appointed Chairman of DISC

Sheldon Kwiat, a board member of the Diamond Dealers Club and head of New York's Kwiat jewelry company, was recently appointed chairman of the Diamond Industry Steering Committee, the umbrella group for the New York industry. Kwiat succeeds former Diamond Dealers Club president Eli Haas. Kwiat says he hopes to use the position to increase diamond manufacturing in New York.
