JA Introduces Gemstone Leaflets

Jewelers of America (JA) has introduced a new series of gemstone consumer leaflets designed to help jewelers educate customers about colored gemstones. The illustrated series of 15 leaflets provides essential information and can be used as a countertop marketing tool.
JA offers leaflets for amber, amethyst, aquamarine, citrine, emerald, garnet, opal, cultured pearls, peridot, ruby, sapphire, spinel, tanzanite, topaz, and tourmaline. The front of each leaflet is illustrated with a full-color photo of the gemstone, and the back describes the stone's origins and properties. Information also is provided on gem treatments as well as the care and cleaning necessary for each stone.
Leaflets are available to JA members for $1.50 per set of 15, and to nonmembers at a slightly higher price. Individual leaflets for a particular gemstone can be ordered in multiples of 100 ($5.50 per 100) or 1,000 ($5 per 100).
