San Francisco Jewelers Mingle

About 150 jewelry designers, wholesalers, and retailers attended the sixth annual Designers by the Bay jewelry show, featuring 22 local designers.
Unlike the usual jewelry "show," Designers by the Bay was held at Shreve & Co. Jewelers in San Francisco and aimed to introduce local retailers to local designers. The event was hosted by the Women's Jewelry Association's Northern California chapter.
The show included a marketing workshop and a design competition, in which 22-year-old Amanda Werner won first prize for her creativity and craftsmanship.
The event was sponsored by Shreve & Co., Chatham Created Gems, Norman Silverman, Otto Frei Swiss, D'Elia & Tasaki, Hearts On Fire, and L.A. Giacobbi.
