Internet Tool Links Retailers with Wholesalers

Polygon, a leading online business-to-business Internet marketplace for the jewelry industry, has launched InventoryPower, described by the company as a "technology enabling retailers and wholesalers to integrate to their Web site a professionally designed shopping interface to showcase diamonds online."

With InventoryPower, Polygon retailers can tap from the CertNet online database of diamonds, select only the Polygon suppliers of their choice, and add their mark-up according to flexible pricing rules, the Dillon, Colo.-based company said. InventoryPower is customizable so retailers can integrate their own brand, colors, and communication strategy.

Wholesalers can bundle the product with TradeLock (login authentication system) so that only authorized partners may retrieve their inventory.
