JVC Standards and Practices Praised

The Jewelers Vigilance Committee has been elected to the 2001 Associations Advance America Honor Roll, a national awards competition sponsored by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Washington, D.C. JVC received the award for its new Membership Standards and Compliance Practices, a written commitment distributed to JVC members for the first time in 2001.
Founded in 1912, JVC is a not-for-profit trade association whose mission is to maintain the highest ethical standards in the jewelry industry. The group offers precious-metals testing and dispute arbitration and serves as a resource for both the trade and consumers.
