Pacific Northern Receives Sears Awards

Pacific Northern Inc., which produces custom jewelry display and designs, was named a Sears Partner in Progress for 2003 and Procurement Supplier of the Year 2003.
The awards are presented annually to suppliers that provide Sears, Roebuck and Co. with outstanding products and services. More than 10,000 vendors competed for the awards in 2003.
Launched more than 20 years ago, the Partners in Progress program recognizes suppliers that make significant contributions to the growth of Sears businesses and the creation of new ways to better serve Sears customers. The winners were selected from nominations submitted by Sears employees who purchase goods and services for the company. The nomination of Pacific Northern reads, "On a list of top-rated suppliers, Pacific Northern steps forward as one of Sears' best. Within their industry, they uphold a reputation of excellence in quality, delivery, and customer service. The 2003 Sears redesign of diamond case trim, accomplished by Pacific Northern Inc., saved Sears over 55% on the price of the program compared to the old design."
