The JA New York Summer Show, July 29 – Aug. 1 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, will include several new elements, including a celebration of design, a bridal showcase, and a new watch pavilion.

The show will hold a 30th anniversary celebration of jewelry design titled, “Birthplace of the American Designer Jewelry Movement" in the New Designer Gallery. It will include a designer showcase lounge on the show floor and 30 years worth of memorabilia. A Designer Jewelry silent auction will raise money for a Mort Abelson scholarship.

David’s Bridal will provide gowns for a bridal showcase. Live models will circulate on the show floor dressed in bridal attire and wearing jewelry supplied by JA exhibitors. Retailers will be able to vote for their favorite designs.

The JA New York Summer Show is partnering with Fine Life Media to present the iW Watch Pavilion that will feature new watch brands such as Ball Watch, Luminox, Ernst Benz and D. Atlantis.

There will also be a new after hours lounge on Sunday and Tuesday, networking café with Internet access, and the annual JA New York Dance Party at Studio Mezmor.

A new online feature for the show is JA New York Connect, is a free tool that will allows participants search for products, booth numbers, exhibitors, conference sessions, and networking opportunities, on-site and prior to the show.

This year's show is expected to attract more than 1,700 designers and manufacturers and more than 13,000 retailers.
