West Coast Jewelry Show Sold Out

The West Coast Jewelry Show, scheduled for Aug. 27–29 at the Westin Century Plaza Hotel & Spa in Los Angeles, has sold out of exhibit space, and a waiting list has been formed. More than 200 designers and manufacturers will participate in the show.
Retail sales and management trainer Harry J. Friedman of the Friedman Group, Marina del Rey, Calif., will be the keynote speaker at the show's "Holiday Boot Camp for Retail Jewelers" conference, to take place immediately before the show opens each morning. Friedman's Boot Camp will take place 7:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Aug. 28.
Holiday Boot Camp will continue on Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., with speaker Diane Warga-Arias of the Diamond Promotion Service delivering a presentation on "Making Your In-Store Customer Experience Sizzle for Holiday 2005." This program will present tactics for creating a luxury shopping experience during the hustle and bustle of the holidays.
