Chimento Supports Youth AIDS Charity

Chimento Corp. of Miami donated an 18k gold necklace and heart pendant to an auction conducted by the United Foundation for AIDS in Aventura, Fla. The event raised more than $10,000 for the UFA’s Kidzcare program, a Miami Beach, Fla.-based volunteer effort to raise funds and address the needs of children with AIDS.

Sandberg & Sikorski Donates Diamond Pendant

New York-based Sandberg & Sikorski donated a diamond drop pendant from its A. Jaffe fine jewelry collection to the Boys & Girls Club of America for a charity auction in September in Anchorage, Alaska. The pendant features a quarter-carat diamond set in 14k yellow gold in an inverted “V” drop. The stone hangs from a 14k yellow gold 18-in. rope chain. The pendant retails for $1,000.

PERLINE ROLLS OUT AMERICAN COLLECTION

Perline Design, which has sold its beaded jewelry almost exclusively in Europe, has launched its American Holiday Collection for sale in the United States. These mostly asymmetrical designs feature Venetian, Japanese, and German beads as well as Austrian crystals. Available in specialty boutiques and museum stores, the collection consists of chokers, lariats, wrap necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and pins. Prices range from $20 to $500 keystone.
