Runway Show Glitters in Gold

TMG’s Style LA, now in it’s sixth year, celebrated swim and resort wear fashion in support of the Facial Paralysis Foundation and Stop the Violence/Face the Music, with a runway show at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica on July 28.

The event was hosted by the Kardashian sisters, Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney. The poolside runway show brought together nine fashion designers from Christian LaCroix, Monique Leshman, Plush Premium Denim, Gottex, Sea Queen, and newcomer Ina Soltani, with gold jewelry, styled by Shaye Strager, as the primary accessory for the show.

“The versatility, warmth and allure of yellow gold proved a perfect fit for this wide array of fashion collections,” said Duvall O’Steen, director of Jewelry PR for the World Gold Council. “Only gold can complement every skin tone and every color under the sun. Its sunny radiance puts a confident smile on the face of the woman who wears it.”

Gold jewelry and accessories from more than 30 designers were featured in the show, with bold statement earrings, pendant necklaces and gold link bracelets, stackable bangles or cuffs leading the way.

Celebrity attendance in support of this event included Dave Navarro, Andy Baldwin of The Bachelor, Kris Jenner and Jason Davis as well as Disney Talent Jordan Francis, Meaghan Jette Martin (Camp Rock), along with fashion designers Petro Zillia’s Nony Tochterman, and Nick Verreos.
