Diamond Congress in Israel Postponed

The on-again, off-again 2002 World Diamond Congress is now off again.

Originally scheduled for May in Israel, the Congress was postponed because of security concerns. Organizers now hope to hold it sometime in the fall. "Israel's diamond industry is committed to holding the Congress here, and we will make every effort to make it a success," said Israel Diamond Exchange president Shmuel Schnitzer.
