Dates Announced for AGTA GemFair Tucson

The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) has announced that AGTA GemFair Tucson is scheduled for Feb. 4-9, 2004, at the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona. The 2004 show will have live demonstrations as well as new and enhanced education programs. The event will feature more than 400 exhibitors showcasing natural colored gemstones, cultured pearls, designer jewelry, manufactured lines, gemstone objects of art, tools, equipment, and industry services.
Attendees can attend "At The Bench Live" demonstrations in the Tucson Convention Center Arena. Demonstrations will be held through the week and admission is free.
Other show highlights include The AGTA Coyote Classic Golf Tournament on Feb. 3 and the AGTA Dinner Dance and Awards Gala on Feb. 7 at the Marriott University Park Hotel in Tucson.
The AGTA Gemological Testing Center will have its Portable Lab Facility on site to conduct colored gemstone identification and country-of-origin testing.
