Management Guru to Address Diamond Leadership Conference

Staff -- JCK Online, 9/1/2005 2:00:00 AM

Business management expert and author Jason Jennings will be the opening keynote speaker at the second annual Couture Diamond Leadership Conference, slated for the New York Palace hotel on Sept. 20 and 21. The theme of the Conference is "The Bottom Line—Increasing Diamond Profit Margins."

Jennings spent 20 years leading successful businesses and consulting for other companies. He is the author of two highly acclaimed management books, Less Is More (Penguin Putnam, 2001) and It's Not the Big That Eat the Small—It's the Fast That Eat the Slow (Penguin Putnam, 2003).

For his latest book, Think Big—Act Small: How America's Best Performing Companies Keep the Start-up Spirit Alive (Penguin Putnam, 2005), Jennings and his research team screened more than 100,000 American companies to find nine that rarely end up on magazine covers, yet have increased revenues and profits by 10 percent for more than 10 consecutive years.
