The nation's most valuable martini debuted recently at a Richmond restaurant, thanks to an innovative partnership with local jeweler Schwarzschild.
The $12,800 Schwarzschild Engaging Martini at Bookbinder's restaurant sparkles with romance. As a special way to propose, customers at Bookbinder's may order the Schwarzschild Engaging Martini, a fiery concoction of Ciroc French Vodka with a splash of dry vermouth, garnished with a 1-ct. Schwarzschild Mastercut round brilliant diamond (D-VS1) in a classic platinum setting. The cocktails are served in a pair of William Yeoward martini glasses, exclusive to the Schwarzschild Collection in the Richmond region. The package includes a romantic dinner for two complete with a hand-tied bouquet of flowers.
The Schwarzschild Engaging Martini debuted in time for Valentine's Day 2004, and will be on the menu at Bookbinder's year round.
