Amal Jhaveri, past president of the Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association, has left New York's SuGem to start his own company, "Diamond Projects." The consulting business will link American companies with Indian and Chinese firms. "If I know a New York manufacturer who wants to link up with someone overseas, I can make that marriage happen," he says. He also wants to take U.S. tradespeople on tours of India or China. "Diamond Projects" can be reached at (914) 261-7979 or e-mail: amaljhaveri@aol.com.
