Dallahan to Join AGS Lab

Frank Dallahan, chief executive officer of MJSA and former publisher of JCK, will become president and chief executive officer of the American Gem Society Laboratories, effective July 15.
“This is a new position created to bring AGS Laboratories to the next level,” Clayton Bromberg, chairman of AGS Laboratories' board of managers, said in a statement. “The AGS Laboratories has experienced dramatic growth over the past few years, and the lab board believes there is a significant growth opportunity ahead.”
Alan Bell, chairman of MJSA, said, “We at MJSA would like to thank Frank for his significant contributions to the association.”
Dallahan, who still writes the Counterpoint column for JCK, said he's very excited about the opportunity, although he'll miss his friends and colleagues in Rhode Island, where he's headed MSJA since October 2005.
