JMI Adds New Coverages, Tests New Products

Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co. (JMI) has introduced Employment Practices Liability Insurance and equipment breakdown insurance and has enhanced coverages under its Jewelers Block and Business Owners policies. JMI also is in the process of testing new products, including Trade Defense Liability Coverage (available on a limited basis), which provides wholesalers with coverage if they are sued for improperly disclosing treatments of colored stones and pearls.

According to the company, JMI maintains an A+ superior rating from A.M. Best, an organization that rates insurance companies.
