John Francis Rottmund, of Manhasset and Quogue, N.Y., and Melbourne, Fla., died in Manhasset on Nov. 12, 2002, following a long illness. He was 74.
A graduate of St. John's University School of Commerce, Rottmund was a partner for 46 years in the firm of Frank Mastoloni Sons Inc., a cultured pearl importing company based in New York City. He was a member of the Plandome C.C. of Manhasset and was active in the Diabetes Research Institute of Miami.
Rottmund is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rita; brothers Robert and William; daughters Louise Pashcaw, Eleanor Hannon, Francine Rottmund, and Christine Shaw; and seven grandchildren.
