The Gemological Institute of America is letting more diamonds qualify for its Diamond Dossier reports and changing its fee structure.
Beginning in June, GIA lowered the minimum size of diamonds eligible for the reports to 0.15 cts. and raised the largest size to 1.99 cts. Dossiers include the same information as GIA's standard reports, but without a diagram.
