GIA Launches Holiday Web Site for Consumers

The Gemological Institute of America is easing holiday shopping stress with a new microsite designed to help those looking for that special gift of jewelry.

The microsite, www.jewelrytrends.gia.edu, has information about gemstones, tips for caring for jewelry, and the latest jewelry trends. The site's “Featured Gem” is tourmaline, a popular gemstone available in a multitude of colors.

In addition, the site details the seven value factors of pearls.
