SJTA to Launch Student Design Contest

Southern Jewelers Travelers Association (SJTA) has partnered with the Savannah College of Art and Design to launch a jewelry design competition for the school's student designers. The competition will be open to current matriculating students and alumni.

Entries will be judged on the basis of overall design, marketability, wearability and craftsmanship in gold and platinum, silver, alternative materials and methods, and high-tech design.

The competition will culminate with an awards presentation held at noon on March 1 during the 2004 Atlanta Jewelry Show.
