Neil Lane Launches Wholesale Line

By Carrie Soucy, Senior Editor -- JCK Online, 3/1/2004 2:00:00 AM

A jeweler best known for dressing A-listers for the red carpet is embarking on a wholesale jewelry venture. Neil Lane, the Brooklyn-boy-turned-Hollywood-hit, is focusing on what first drew him into the jewelry business—vintage and antique designs. Drawing inspiration from the collection he has been building over his lifetime, Lane will focus on diamonds, platinum, and precious stones, usually with a vintage feel to the design.

Lane's pieces, which until now were available exclusively through his Los Angeles boutique, are regularly featured on the pages of top fashion magazines and on the red carpets of such events as the Academy Awards. Lane has supplied bridal jewels to stars including Courteney Cox, Reese Witherspoon, and Madonna as well as runway jewels for the likes of Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Lopez, and Nicole Kidman.
