AGS Adds Six to International Board of Directors

The American Gem Society elected six new members to their International Board of Directors, Ronnie Cox, CG of Cox Jewelers; Bill Farmer, CGA of Farmer¹s Jewelry; John Nash, CGA of Nash Jewellers; Michael Richards, CG of Underwood Jewelers; Charles Rosario, RS of Lazare Kaplan International, Inc.; and Laura Stanley, CGA of Stanley Jewelers-Gemologist.

Members completing their term on the International Board of Directors are: Craig Underwood, CGA of Underwood¹s Jewelers; Clayton Bromberg, CG of Underwood Jewelers; Georgie Gleim, CG of Gleim the Jeweler; John Michaels, RJ of Michaels Jewelers; Harton Wolf, CGA of Henne Jewelers, Inc.; and Michael Greene, CGA of Wick and Greene Jewelers. The Society recognized outgoing Board members for their dedication and service to the Society.

The American Gem Society International Board of Directors oversees all policy matters for the American Gem Society, including matters of membership. The Board establishes the standards of gemological education, business conduct and public relations, as well as the requirements for gemological equipment, member classification, titles and accreditations. The Board also approves the annual budget for the organization.
