The international partnership between Damiani and Brad Pitt may be one of the smartest jewelry marketing ventures in recent history. Proof came in Tokyo recently, when an impeccably timed event by Damiani—just a week after the launch of the film Troy—featured Pitt as the guest of honor. In addition to the crowds of fans screaming for the attention of the superstar (who stood before a Damiani logo background), the Italian jeweler also received prominent publicity from major entertainment media such as Entertainment Tonight. Pitt, whose partnership with Damiani includes celebrity appearances and has encompassed advertising in countries outside the United States, spoke to reporters about Damiani jewelry and his discovery of the brand in a quest to buy a gift for his wife, Jennifer Aniston.
