WJA in L.A. to host holiday party, Nov. 16

The Women’s Jewelry Association Los Angeles Chapter will host its annual gala holiday party on Nov. 16, in the Emerald Ballroom at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, located at 506 S. Grand Ave. in downtown Los Angeles. This year’s event will include cocktails beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing at 7:30 p.m. The musical act will be the Martini Kings.

The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association, Los Angeles Diamond Dealers Club, American Gem Society, 24Karat Club, California Jewelers Association, the LA Chapter of the GIA Alumni Asso1ciation, and the Armenian Jewelers Association are among the other Los Angeles-area associations who will be participating in the event. Tickets are $85 for members of any participating association (in advance) and $95 for non-members and/or guests at the door. There will be valet parking at the hotel for 1$15 or self-parking in Pershing Square for $6.50.

“We’re delighted to welcome good friends and colleagues from so many important trade associations to join our members and guests from the WJA-LA Chapter for a very special evening,” said Veronica Clark-Hudson, co-president of WJA-LA.

“It’s not going to be a traditional sit-down dinner, but rather a festive pre-holiday industry event that encourages people to move around, socialize and mingle,” added Judith Shechter-Lankford, co-president, WJA-LA Chapter.
