The Los Angeles–based estate jewelry appraiser will work on West Coast acquisitions

Christie’s has named Peggy Gottlieb its West Coast jewelry specialist.

Gottlieb has been an estate jewelry, appraiser, and auction house specialist for 20 years. She is Graduate Gemologist and a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians, the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers, and the Women’s Jewelry Association. 

“With extensive ties to the Los Angeles community, and solid relationships with both private and trade clients, Peggy is uniquely qualified for this role, and we are thrilled to have her on board,” said West Coast directors Sonya Roth and Ellanor Notides in a statement.
