Zalemark to Create M&M’s Jewelry Brand

Zalemark has signed an agreement with Mars Inc. to design, market, and distribute a line of jewelry based on the popular M&M’s candy.

The company signed the agreement based on a successful preliminary test of the product in several unnamed major department stores.

M&M’s isn’t the first colorful, surprising brand to get the jewelry treatment from Zalemark. The company partnered with Crayola in October for a new line of jewelry that debuted at JCK Las Vegas this year.

“This global brand is a nice parallel with our other global brand, Crayola,” said Zalemark CEO Steven Zale. “With the historical testing of this product line, we predict it will move into the market place swiftly. The upward momentum of Zalemark is on a rolling path as it continues to add well-known brands to its lineup.”

“When the Mars group reviewed our presentation, they made the comment that it was one of the most impressive and creative they have seen,” said Zalemark creative director Jeffrey Ringer. “When we heard those comments, we knew we have the right formula to make this new jewelry brand our next big success.”

Zalemark has not yet announced a debut date for the line.
