What’s Selling In Stores: White Gold

We asked retailers across the country to share their best-selling white gold fashion jewelry this week.

Scoville Jewelers, Glens Falls, N.Y. Hearts on Fire white gold studs. (Pictured: Garden Flower 18k white gold studs with .35 ct. t.w. diamonds, $2,300.)

“It’s a great product,” says store general manager Dawn Thomas. “Hearts on Fire always sells!”

St. John and Myers Jewelry, Lexington, Ky. Custom-designed stud diamond earrings. (Pictured: 1 ct. t.w. diamonds in 14k white gold, $2,679.)

“They’re as common as grass!” buyer Louis Scholz quips of these standard studs. “They’re a safe choice, and women can ask for a specific, clearly defined item.”

Jay F. Jeweler, Apple Valley, Minn. Lazare Kaplan white gold drop pendant with .42.5 cts. t.w. diamonds, $1,750.

“You get a lot of look for a lot less money,” notes store owner Jay Feichtinger.

Nagi Jewelers, Stamford, Conn. Marco Bicego .48 ct. t.w. diamond-and-18K white gold interlocking ring pendant, $5,830.

“It’s fashionable and just very pretty,” says store owner Liz Osta.
