JA Accepting CASE Award Entries

Jewelers of America is now accepting entries for the CASE Awards, its annual design competition for independent jewelers.

Entry forms are due February 7, and jewelry must arrive at JA headquarters between February 24 and 27. The competition will take place March 1–4 at the JA New York Winter Show at the Javits Center in New York City.

A panel of experienced industry judges will select the winners. The jewelry submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, artistry, skills, and excellence in quality and style. Jewelers of America association members can submit 12 original entries per category. The categories are separated by retail value: Jewelry to $2,000 Retail Value; Jewelry $2,001 to $5,000 Retail Value; Jewelry $5,001 to $10,000 Retail Value; and Jewelry over $10,000 Retail Value.

Each competition category will have winners for Best of Show and Buyer’s Choice. There will be no more than six award winners per category. The winners will receive a trophy or plaque from Jewelers of America. First-place winners will also receive individual press releases for use with local media and be promoted on the Jewelers of America website as well as featured in major trade media.
