Bonhams has appointed Sophie Stevens to be a jewelry specialist in its London office.
Since 2009, Stevens has worked as a jewelry specialist with Lucas Rarities in London, sourcing and selling period jewelry, loose diamonds, and gemstones, and helping the company expand into Asia. She was also reviews editor at Jewellery History Today, the magazine of the Society of Jewellery Historians.
Prior to 2009, Stevens worked in marketing and communications at Hill+Knowlton in Beijing.
