Jacob & Co. Debuts International Ad Campaign Featuring Natasha Barnard

As if Jacob & Co.’s high-end jewels weren’t sexy enough, the collections are getting an added boost from the advent of newly hired spokeswoman Natasha Barnard.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition model was recently enlisted to star in a series of soon-to-debut ads from the New York City-based jeweler. Barnard joins fellow brand ambassador, Portuguese footballer (a.k.a. soccer player) Cristiano Ronaldo, who arguably serves as eye candy for female Jacob & Co. fans.

Chris Del Gatto, CEO of Jacob & Co. Worldwide, told the media that he is “thrilled” to have Natasha as its newest female ambassador, and that she captures “the essence of the brand by conveying an elegance that was at the same time very alluring.”

“The new women’s campaign is among a series of moves for the Jacob & Co. brand as we position ourselves for global expansion,” Del Gatto continued.

Barnard, a South African model discovered at age 18, also has appeared in campaigns for Guess and Wonderbra.

Fashion photographer, Mani Zarrin, shot Jacob & Co.’s campaign in New York City. Among the publications the first ads will appear in are Harper’s Bazaar, Town & Country, Elite Traveler, Russian Tatler, and Robb Report. One of the themes for the new jewels is Art Deco motifs.
