Birks & Mayors’ Comps Rise 9% in 1Q



Birks & Mayors announced that its comparable store sales increased by 9 percent in the first quarter, which ended June 29.

The company’s net sales totaled $70.1 million, a 2 percent increase from 2012.

The comparable store sales increase reflects a 5 percent increase in sales from the stores in Canada, while comparable store sales in the United States increased 15 percent.
