Steve McQueen's "Michael Delaney" Heuer wristwatch, worn in the 1971 racing film Le Mans, sold for $799,500 at a recent auction organized by Profiles of History, the auction house announced.

The Calabasas Hills, Calif.-based auction house said the timepiece was estimated to sell between $200,000 and $300,000.

The watch, which had been auctioned before, was featured in JCK’s The Way We Wore in March 2011.
