Sterling Jewelers Announces Staffing Changes

Sterling Jewelers has announced changes in management positions coinciding with the company’s corporate initiatives.

Ed Hrabak, former senior vice president merchandising, has been appointed to executive vice president and chief operating officer, replacing Bill Monalto, who retired on June 30.

Stuart Lee has been promoted to senior vice president, merchandising and general merchandise manager, and Dawn McGuire has been promoted to vice president, merchandising.

Judy Fisher has been promoted to divisional vice president, merchandising, mall division. Laurie Kosarik has been promoted to divisional vice president, merchandising, Jared division.

Laurel Kruger has joined the company as vice president, associate general counsel.

Signet Jewelers, Sterling’s parent company, has also made several staffing changes.

Kevin Valentine has been appointed to the new role of Signet’s vice president, internal audit and risk management, and David Bouffard has assumed the new role of vice president, corporate affairs for Signet. Lynn Dennison has assumed the newly established role of senior vice president of corporate affairs and general counsel.

All three are being promoted from similar positions at Sterling.
