Five Reasons Palladium Should Be on Your Radar

The Palladium Alliance International recently put palladium jewelry in the spotlight in five different ways as a means of driving interest—and purchases—among consumers. Here are some recent events that may have your consumers talking about palladium.

Jewelry Design Competition for Accessory Designer Participants in Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion PAI announced a competition for accessory designer participants that challenges them with designing a collection of six pieces of palladium jewelry; the winner will have his/her line featured in a national ad campaign and put into production and sold through a partnership with Gemvara.

Palladium Jewelry on Stars at the New York City premiere of I Don’t Know How She Does It At the premiere of Sarah Jessica Parker’s new movie, PAI dressed celebrities like Christina Hendricks, Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford, Erika Christensen, Rose McGowan, Jordin Sparks, Bar Refaeli, and Beverly Johnson.

The Ruffian Runway Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Clothing designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais of Ruffian dressed a number of runway models in palladium jewelry designs by Alishan, among others, in addition to announcing a partnership with PAI to produce a couture collection of palladium jewels.

Palladium Jewelry on Stars at the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards PAI dressed stars like Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic during an E! Fashion Police segment as well as Christina Hendricks, Emmy winner Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), Ashlee Simpson, and Ariel Winter on the red carpet. Jewelry designs were from Andrew Meyer, Simon G., Todd Reed, and Zeghani by Simon.

Ongoing efforts of PAI’s “I’m So Over Heavy Metal” Campaign. PAI’s ongoing media campaign and promotion of palladium jewelry (available free to all jewelry designers with professional photography of merchandise) will help keep palladium top of mind with consumers indefinitely.
