Gemfields Emerald, Beryl Auction Earns $9.9 Million

The Gemfields rough emerald and beryl auction in Jaipur, India, held March 10–14, raked in $9.9 million.

The auction offered 16.83 million quality carats and sold 12.98 million of them. The average price per carat was 77 cents.
