GJEPC Hosts Third International Diamond Conference

The 3rd International Diamond Conference, Mines to Market will be held October 12-13 in Mumbai.

The chief guest will be Jyotiraditya Scindia, minister of state, commerce and industry.  Speakers will include Gareth Penny, former CEO De Beers Group; Ms. Varda Shine, managing director, DTC; Mr. Jacob Thamage coordinator, Diamond Hub presenting on behalf of Ponatshego Kedikilwe, minister of minerals, energy and water resources, Republic of Botswana; Obert Mpofu, minister of mines and mining, Zimbabwe; Pierre De Bosscher, Antwerp Diamond Bank; Victor Van Der Kwast, executive vice president, ABN-AMRO NV; Jacky Tache, director, Tache Diamonds, Antwerp; Elliot Tannenbaum, partner, Leo, Schachter Diamonds, Israel; Jean Marc Lieberherr, general manager sales and marketing Rio Tinto Diamonds; Mark Brauner, Co-CEO, IGI Worldwide; Tom Moses, senior vice president, GIA; Cecilia Gardner, president & CEO, Jewelers Vigilance Committee, US;  Russel Mehta, Rosyblue Group; Rajiv Mehta, CEO, Dimexon Diamond Ltd ; Anil Shah, partner Venus Jewel; Praveenshankar Pandya, chairman Diamond India Ltd; Mehul Choksi, chairman and managing director, Gitanjali Group; and Ashit Mehta SDSIL

GJEPC will also be hosting the 37th Annual Awards Function in Mumbai on October 11 at The Taj Mahal Palace.

Shri Praful Patel, India’s minister of state for civil aviation will be the presiding Guest. Professor K.V Thomas minister of state for agriculture, consumer affairs, food and public distribution will be the chief guest and Varda Shine, CEO, Diamond Trading Company will be the guest of honor.
