Helena Krodel, Jewelers of America’s director of media and special events and a Jewelry Information Center spokesperson, received the Women’s Jewelry Association Award for Excellence in Marketing & Communications at the Awards for Excellence Gala last night in New York. The WJA Awards for Excellence honor industry leaders who have helped women succeed in the gem and jewelry industry.
As director of media and special events, Krodel has developed JIC’s annual GEM Awards into an important event. She also plans JIC’s Fine Jewelry Preview & Luncheon, during which jewelry and accessory editors in New York review noteworthy jewelry.
