Shanghai Diamond Exchange Meets With DDC

Diamond Dealers Club president Moshe Mosbacher hosted a six-member leadership delegation of the Shanghai Diamond Exchange led by SDE vice president Nanhai Yan.

The Chinese leadership, which in addition to Yan included key SDE leaders in finance, membership and administration, expressed their support for greater trade between the Chinese and American industry.  Yan agreed to a follow- up meeting with the American leadership with the goal being to produce greater business between members of both Clubs.  He further requested that the DDC leadership send the Shanghai Diamond Exchange its recommendations on how to improve business between the two Bourses and said that the DDC proposals would be given serious “consideration.”
