An unusual collection of jewels—designed by fashion’s biggest names and produced by goldsmiths from the Arezzo, Italy, area—debuted in Italy during Milan’s fashion week and has made a stop at The JCK Show.

The innovative jewels are part of the Oro d’Autore collection, which is coordinated by the organizers of the OroArezzo fair. These one-of-a-kind, 18k gold pieces are crafted strictly according to the directives of the various designers, and the result is a purely creative venture. Giorgio Armani’s ring is a solid block of onyx carved and set with emeralds by Oro Accessory-Falcinetti Italy. La Perla’s lingerie inspires a lace and pearl necklace crafted by L’Immagine. Moschino went for whimsy in a charm bracelet—the charms are actually paper drawings.

The 30 pieces also include designs by Chanel, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbanna and Roberto Cavalli.

“This is the first time the world of fashion is combined like this with gold,” said Adelaide Ruzzi, spokesperson for the Oro d’Autore project. “This is a first step to bring us closer to the fashion world.”

The collection is on display in the 46000 aisle on the lower level of the show.
